In Mousesteps Weekly #235, we talk about the following topics:

We visited Disney's Old Key West Resort for Christmas in July, meeting Santa Goofy and participating in a scavenger hunt on July 25th.

Continuing in the Christmas in July theme, we headed to Disney Springs where we met "Summer Santa" Claus in his vacation outfit and checked out the decorations and some merchandise.

Next, we make a quick stop at Epcot for Shanghai Disneyland merchandise. It was flying off the shelves!

Our friend Axel from the Curious Axel YouTube channel brings us onto Pirates of the Caribbean, which underwent a major refurbishment. Gone is the former auction scene, and in is Jack Sparrow. He also shows us some of the merchandise.

Filip from the DLRP Fans YouTube channel also shares some footage of the attraction, mostly close-ups on some of the animatronics.

We then show and discuss many of the D23 announcements for Walt Disney World, including Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway at Disney's Hollywood Studios; Ratatouille in Epcot's World Showcase; the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction and Space Restaurant at Epcot; and Tron in the Magic Kingdom. We also talk about the Minnie Vans and the Disney Skyliner.

Our last stop is Disneyland, where we test out and review Disney MaxPass. This is the Disneyland answer to mobile Fastpass, and it does cost money ($10.00 per day currently) and it includes Photopass for the days it is used.
