Learn to read sheet music for the piano - play any kind of song on the piano, from a song book. In this video, you'll learn where the notes are placed on the music stave using the treble clef. In the last lesson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yG_-G... you learnt about the notes on the piano keyboard - now you can see where the same notes are placed on the staff. There are five lines on the musical stave/staff. The notes are written on each line and space, rising up the stave as they rise in pitch. The treble clef is also called a "G clef" because the curly part of the clef shows you where the note G (above middle C) is located. After watching this lesson you'll be able to work out the letter names of any of the white notes on the piano keyboard. For more online piano lessons, please visit http://www.mymusictheory.com.
